So I got a call around 2:15 from Parker asking me if I could come and pick him up from school to go get stitches. What happened?? He said he was playing circle ball in his weight lifting class and ran into his friend and his cheek bone connected with Parkers eye. Nice! 8 stitches later and a matching scar from his other eyebrow he's home and proud of his lovely stitched up eyebrow. I think he needs to wear a helmet cause he has been stitched up 4 times on his head in his life. You can faintly see the scar in the middle of his forehead, ( top left of the picture) then he has a scar on the back of his head and on the other eyebrow. Nice!!!!

OUCH! It amazes me that a cheek bone could be so hard. I have seen that happen before though, and I am still amazed. Hope it heals well.
I think our running total of accident-related stitches is up to 89 between all my kids....which is my way of saying: no fun!!! I hope it heals well!!! Did he get a sucker for being brave??? ;)
scars are so manly. way to go Parker! :)
Oh my gosh...can't believe this happened! Is he doing ok??
Yes, he is doing great. While he was getting it stitched up he said..."I wish it was a little longer" BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
